Smartylamps are constructed by linking together identical, interlocking pieces.
The pieces are made from recyclable polypropylene plastic.
The amount of pieces used in assembly of the lampshade directly relates to its size. More pieces: Bigger shade.
Size of individual pieces: Medium: 17 x 11cm. Large: 23 x 13cm. Extra Large: 27 x 14cm
Begin with ‘Flatpack 30’ - The standard ‘puzzle kit’ containing 30 pieces - enough to make ‘Cosmo’, the most popular sphere shape.
Learn to make Cosmo first and you’ll have the basic principles for making the rest.
The instructions include inspirational patterns for assembling all the other lampshades in the Smartylamps ready-made range.

When placing an order please note:

The pieces come in 4 different sizes – Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large.
Yet only the same sized pieces can be linked together. So individual lampshades are made from pieces of the same size.
The pieces are available in packs containing 10, 20, 30, 60, 100 or 120 pieces, of the same size.
Multiple packs can be combined to create even more impressive lamps (of up to 120 pieces - ‘Elektra’).
You can make several lampshades from one pack. Why not make one for each room?
