Wattage Guide

Please use energy saving bulbs if at all possible.

If you have to use ordinary bulbs, then 60watt is the MAX WATTAGE or lower for some lampshades. Please see below. The lampshades listed below should be used with a 40watt candle bulb as they are rather narrow. The rule is to allow 4cm between the bulb and the shade. PLEASE USE ENERGY SAVING BULBS if at all possible.

Smarty Lamps holds no responsibility for ill-fitted lampshades or incorrect bulbs fitted. The following lampshades in all sizes except extra large usyually require use of an energy saving bulb or candle bulb with no more than 40 watts.
