A very contemporary way of lighting your room is to place Smartylamps on the floor, a table, sideboard, the floor or any suitable surface. Rather than hanging from the ceiling pendant these are free standing, table and floor lamps. Each lamp is supplied with a power cable with a bayonet fitting on one end thats inserted into the shade and a plug the end.  It is absolutely essential that energy saving bulbs are used with these lamps.
